| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description PYREX glassware is incredibly durable and easy to clean. Unlike earthenware, porcelain or enameled dishes, PYREX glass absorbs, rather than reflects oven heat waves. This speeds the cooking process and helps save energy. It's a durable and practical form of cookware that's easy to clean and attractive to serve with. PYREX glassware products can go directly from refrigerator or freezer to a microwave, convection, or preheated conventional oven. A small amount of liquid should be added to the ovenware vessel prior to baking foods that release liquids while cooking.

pyrex bakeware June 18, 2008 Brent Harrington (so. cal. pomona area) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
the last pyrex dish we recieved over 25 years ago,was fron an empty apartment abandoned by its owner. its age unknown we used it till it finally broke may of 08. so now we own a 2 quart and a 1.5 quart so it should last thru my 24 year olds family or at least the next 20 years. good job pyrex for making a real good product.
pyrex! January 22, 2008 Emily Scioscia (ma) It went fine-- I broke my mother's last pyrex bowl a few days before christmas, and I immediately ordered 2 new ones from amazon. Thankfully they arrived on time and I could give them to her on christmas morning before our day of cooking began. Woooo!
Made in USA November 25, 2007 Tonya (Dallas, TX USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I like this product a lot because it is made in the USA. It is all glass so no harmful plastic chemicals leach into the food and it is a nice looking piece as well. It is great for the toaster oven to reheat leftovers.
