Love having a lid! October 9, 2008 Susan M. Cunningham (Fort Worth, TX USA) I bought this baking dish because it has a lid. I have several 9 x 13" baking dishes without lids, and I tried buying lids for my other ones, but it seems you can't do that. You just have to purchase one that comes with a lid. I'm so glad I did. I can take casseroles or dessert dishes to parties, get-togethers or church socials, and I don't have to worry about fighting with saran wrap or foil. The only thing I would change about it would be to make it more air-tight. It's still better than plastic or foil, but I wish it sealed just a little better. However, beggars cannot be choosers, so I would totally recommend this product!
GREAT GLASS! August 16, 2008 NORMA (NEW YORK) I STARTED BUYING GLASS BOWLS BECAUSE I READ THAT PLASTIC BOWLS HEATING UP IN THE MICROWAVE ARE A CARCINOGEN. SO I THREW OUT MY PLASTIC BOWLS AND BOUGHT DIFFERENT SIZES OF GLASS BOWLS TO MEET ALL MY NEEDS. I LOVE THIS BOWL BECAUSE I WANTED IT FOR MY BAKED ZITI AND IT CAME OUT GREAT!
Replacement Pyrex July 4, 2008 Megan Lawler (NewMilford, NJ United States) I have had one of these pyrex dishes for years and when mine smashed into a trillion peices not to long ago... I knew I wanted to find one that was as close to the original as possible. I absolutely love this dish! It can go from oven to fridge to dishwasher no prob. I make lots of brownies and casseroles in this dish... and the best part is that it comes with a lid to make storage of leftovers very very easy! You will not be disapointed!
A staple for your kitchen November 11, 2007 Bunson Honeydew (White Plains, NY) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I own a lot of Pyrex. It may not be as fancy as other bakeware/serveware, etc., but dollar for dollar it's a great deal. Over time, it's less expensive than those disposable aluminum pans. I live near a place that sells 9x13 aluminum pans for 15-25 cents per pan, and I still rarely buy them. Speaking of which, aluminum pans aren't that great for storing cooked food. Pyrex doesn't give off any odors, and the plastic top makes storage and transporting a breeze (no mess). I have never had a hard time cleaning my Pyrex - either by hand or in the dishwasher.

I bought this dish as a replacement to a similar one that I broke. It is a wonderful kitchen tool! IT even has a top unlike the first one I had. It shipped the day after I bought it too! I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys cooking.
