BIA Cordon Bleu Wavy Rectangle Baker with Handles - Citrus (15 oz.)

I bought the Bia Wavy Baker through another site. I was very pleased upon receiving it. All my recipes went very nicely from the oven to the table. Plus it was festive. The yellow is not an insulting yellow bright, but it was not so pale either. Just a beautiful medium yellow that blended well with my Napoli dishes. The dish was an easy clean up, and always felt sturdy. The design of the Wavy Baker was great because of the handles that you could actually hold onto and not worry of a slip.

I had the Bia Wavy Baker for about six months when I noticed dark veins on the inside (up along the sides and bottom of the dish). I'm not sure if the Bia Wavy Baker is any good now, much less safe, to put casseroles and apple crisps in, but it is no longer beautiful as it used to be.

I will replace the Bia Wavy Baker, but not with this manufacturer. It's maddening that quality doesn't mean anything anymore. My mother used to buy bakeware and she never replaced it... unless she broke it. Nevertheless, quality in her day meant something. Times like these I still wish for the old Corningware.

So if you're still considering, here is the bottom line.
Pros:
--Great design because of the handles;
--Goes from oven to table; and
--Easy clean up.

Cons:
--Doesn't last so expect to replace it in 6 months or so. The veins will show up on the dish, making you wonder whether it is still safe to put food in it. The veins also make the dish look ugly.
