LOVE having an unbleached option! January 6, 2009 Shannie AKA 'TheJavaGoddess' Some of us prefer unbleached coffee filters, and if you do, why not try these? Although I simply like the idea, I told friends with sensitive kids about them, they were thrilled. Perfect size, these are terrific.
NOT "If You Care" brand, but okay December 23, 2008 C. A. Bunde (Idaho) The description for this product (Beyond Gourmet Unbleached Baking Cups) mistakenly lists the "If You Care" brand in its description. Amazon also offers the other brand (http://www.amazon.com/If-You-Care-Baking-60-Count/dp/B000FAIR96), but they are different products. I have purchased the If You Care muffin cups, which are unbleached, chemical-free and also produce excellent results! They don't stick to muffins/cupcakes at all. However, these Beyond Gourmet muffin cups are just okay - they are nice for the environment and they keep me from scrubbing a muffin pan. They stick to food way more than the If You Care ones. The price seems reasonable, as long as you're getting free shipping.
Poor Quality. uneven cupcakes November 30, 2008 L. Vasquez-Valencia (Los Angeles) i do not recommend these liners. they are terrible. the folds are all uneven and produce funny looking cupcakes. if you plan on making decent looking cupcakes, stay away from these
Non-stick and environmentally friendly! October 16, 2008 B. Hanson (Arizona, USA) These muffin cups are excellent! I use them for a morning glory muffin- whole wheat flour, carrots, apples, coconut, pineapple and raisins- which always sticks to traditional paper liners. These are the only paper baking cups that easily come off the muffins. Yes, they are light brown color, and not very glamorous- but they work incredibly well. So well,in fact, that I'm mail-ordering them while we're living in Korea!
Unbleached Baking Cups October 3, 2008 Antoinette Walker (Greenville, TX) I bought these baking cups to use for my daughters upcoming wedding. I wanted something that would look nice, suit our baking needs and provide an enviornmentally friendly alternative to the standard baking cup. Beyond Gourmet unbleached baking cups are a natural (tan) color and have a thicker texture than most grocery store types. I recommend them as one more way we can help reduce excess waste, recycle and still produce a very pretty finished product.
