Product Description Whether you're starting up or starting over, the KitchenAid Hard-Anodized 10-pc. Cookset is the perfect kitchen staple. This metal pot and pan set features hard-base ceramic, nonstick interiors for outstanding food release, durability and scratch resistance and heavy-duty, break-resistant glass lids that sit firmly on the pots and pans. Each piece also features cool grip handles that provide a safe grip.
Amazon.com Review From KitchenAid's Gourmet Essentials line comes this cookware set made of hard-anodized aluminum. Durable, handsomely finished in matte charcoal gray, and known for its exceptional heat distribution and retention properties, hard-anodized cookware is a very popular choice for the home chef. KitchenAid embellishes these pots with stainless-steel handles, riveted for strength and wrapped with cushy, stay-cool silicone grips. The lids, made of break-resistant glass for optimum viewing, also feature silicone-wrapped handles, highly arched to enable easy grasping with a potholder or oven mitt. Both the pans and lids are oven-safe up to 400 degrees F. An excellent value, this 10-piece set consists of the most frequently used kitchen pots and pans and makes a great gift set. The two skillets, measuring 8 and 10 inches in diameter, handle everyday frying and sautéing needs, from eggs-over-easy to grilled cheese sandwiches to fish filets, then crepes for dessert. Three saucepans holding 1, 2, and 3 quarts let you boil a single egg, heat soup, and slow-cook a creamy risotto with wild mushrooms. The larger 6-quart stockpot with two loop handles works admirably for family-sized batches of pasta, chili, soup, and corn-on-the-cob. The nonstick finish releases food quickly and makes clean up by hand a snap. It's best to keep the nonstick cookware out of the dishwasher. KitchenAid covers the set with a one-year, hassle-free replacement warranty. --Ann Bieri What's in the Box 10-piece cookware set. The set consists of: 1-quart covered saucepan; 2-quart covered saucepan; 3-quart covered saucepan; 6-quart covered stockpot; 8-inch skillet; 10-inch skillet. 10 pieces total.

Great pots and pans set February 1, 2010 Miriam R-fusco I have had this set for three months and love it! It cooks evenly, fast (on medium to high heat), and nothing sticks to it. It also looks great on my ceramic black and stainless steel stove.
We Love These Pans! January 30, 2010 Catherine Hemm (Helen, GA) We own these pans, we got our set at Costco. We loved them so much we found them online at Amazon to buy for our Father in Law. Nothing sticks to these pans, they are super easy to clean and I've never had a better set of pans. I've had more expensive pots, but not easier to work with pots. Love Them!
KitchenAid cook ware January 23, 2010 Lois (Hollister, Ca) This product is not recommended for the dishwasher but, it is so easy to clean even if left overnight. I am convinced that any nonstick anodized cookware when put into a dishwasher eventually will began to peel. That is what happened to my old cookware, started peeling around the rims. I plan on buying some addtional pieces. KitchenAid is a good company.
Best Cookware I have ever owned. January 13, 2010 kindred spirit (God's Country) I've had numerous cheap-o non stick sets over the years. The last set was hard anodized but not good quality. I recently got a new glass top stove and found my 10 year old set was not going to work as the bottoms are not flat anymore. I got this set on the Friday sale. What a wonderful surprise when they arrived.
These pans are good quality weight but not heavy that it makes them hard to lift. You cook on low or medium heat. I'm used to turnng stuff up on high then turning it down but the instructions said only use on low and med. So I figured stuff would take longer to cook. NOT so! In fact my meals have been done sooner. It is the first non stick set that really is non stick. You cannot use spray in it like Pam as it will ruin the non stick surface. Guess that is why all my other non stick pans always stuck.
You just cannot beat the quality and value of this set. It looks so professional and clean. I am glad it is not in the classic red. Nothing against red just that these match better to my kitchen than red does. The lids are thick good quality glass. I'm thinking finally this will be my last set of cookware. They have a 1 year full replacement no shipping cost to you but when you read on it is a lifetime warranty really. If it is not due to abuse they stand by it for as long as you own it. Like if a handle would fall off they will replace with same or equal value item. That's the kind of company I like to do business with.
Highly recommend for someone just getting started or and experienced cook. Good for a single person or small family. Large families probably need the bigger sets.
Not happy with this purchase December 30, 2009 Garden Lover (Sequim, WA) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was really excited when I first got these. The pots are a good heavy weight. Then I realized that the outside of pots would scratched easily. I was so disappointed, but I knew they would be unsightly in no time around our house.
