Not too impressive.. August 26, 2008 Cadillakin (Central Valley, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This poor review is partly Amazon's fault, as the item shipped poorly.. The damn thing was in a big box by itself with one some feeble paper packing.. Naturally, it was broken.. a small part in the handle had broken off. So, I sent it back. But that is NOT the fault of the manufacturer.. The cooker itself seemed a little lightweight.. not of the highest quality. Chinese thru and thru... not Spanish as some of the literature suggests. When my mother learned that my pot was broken on shipping, she turned over a new, but stowed away Rapida pressure cooker.. This one was heavy and of much higher quality.. It had been manufactured some five years ago.. I understand the manufacturer of the Rapida is now using China imports.. so the current Rapida may not be of the same quality... Whatever... this Magafesa was totally unimpressive... Shop around..
