Product Description Great kitchens start with top-quality All-Clad cookware. The saucier's rounded sides and wide rim make for easy stirring and whisking. The popular stainless steel collection is constructed of a durable, hand-polished 18/10 stainless steel surface and a pure aluminum core. It features extra-long, stay-cool handles and snug-fitting lids. All-Clad cookware carries a limited lifetime warranty.
Amazon.com Review The bestseller among All-Clad's renowned cookware collections, the Stainless line provides serious and professional cooks with all the virtues that make All-Clad's worldwide reputation unsurpassed. Key to its high performance is a three-ply, bonded construction. Sandwiched between the exterior and an 18/10 stainless-steel interior is a thick aluminum core that spreads heat evenly across the bottom of the pan and all the way up its sides. The interior is 18/10 stainless steel, highly polished so it's stick- as well as stain- and corrosion-resistant. The exterior is gleaming, magnetic stainless steel that works on induction as well as conventional stovetops and, with care, remains beautiful during this cookware's lifetime warranty against defects--and beyond. This classic, versatile 3-quart saucier pan has rounded sides, increasing the amount of food the pan can contain relative to the diameter of its bottom. Because the aluminum core extends up the sides, foods cook uniformly in the pan, even though it's 3-1/4 inches deep. And because the interior is nonreactive, tomato-based pasta sauces and other acidic foods won't taste metallic. Its polished 18/10 stainless-steel pan and lid handles are riveted for strength and grooved on the top for comfort. The long handle (holed for hanging on a hook or peg) stays cool on the stovetop but won't be harmed by an oven's highest heat. Although Stainless cookware is dishwasher-safe, hand washing is recommended. --Fred Brack

Pot great, condition unacceptable October 10, 2008 ChiChi (San Francisco) The 3 quart saucier I bought was sold by Amazon. It was the last one available. When it arrived the lid was bent and there were very noticable dings inside the pot. Looking at the packaging of the lid, it was clear this package had been opened before. Others have complained on Amazon of suspecting that defective items had been shipped out before and returned and then shipped to them again. I suspect this was the case with this item. Return is simple, if you consider packaging the whole thing up again and hauling it to a UPS store simple. I'm going to go to Macys and buy the cassoulet, which is the same pot with different handles for less money. Couldn't find the 3 quart saucier locally, which is why I ordered it here. Won't order any more kitchenware on Amazon.
My new favorite pan! August 21, 2008 A. Josephs (New York, NY) Such a beautiful and useful shape. I have the 5-1/2 quart. It is a perfect size between a saucepan and stock/pasta pot. It has a wide bulb that is great for cooking stews, rice, sautes and of course sauces.

All-Clad Stainless is the best around. This large sized saucier pan is great for making sauces and other favorite dishes. Makes a great gift for those chef's you know. Can't go wrong here.
Now with pour spouts March 8, 2008 Justin G. Cramer (Chicago, IL USA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I picked up this pan at a local foodie shop. I was pleased to see that All-Clad has improved the model this year. It now includes a pour spout on either side of the rim. The other reviewers are right on the money with the quality and versatility of this pan. I like this pan so much I am struggling to keep my self from buying a second one rather than diversifying my set.
I love it! February 11, 2008 Ron (Minnesota) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I make a lot of sauces. The rounded sides make it easy to stir the sauce and the cladded sides provide even heat distribution - don't know how I got along without it. Also great for small quantities of vegetables. I recommend it unqualifedly - 5 stars all the way
