This is the fourth or fifth version of this pan I've bought over the years. Like all non-stick finishes, they do have to be replaced periodically, but I use this pan pretty much every day. I think of it as my "desert-island" pot. If I only had one piece of cookware for the rest of my life, this would be the one. The size is perfect, nice and big but still light enough to lift easily with one hand when filled. The flat bottom works well for all types of sautee and frying, and it also heats liquids quickly because more surface is on the burner. The cover fits well and the steam vent is easy to adjust. Love it.

I had a T-Fal chicken fryer that finally had to be retired after 10+ years of use and I had a heck of a time finding a replacement -- then I stumbled upon this! It's perfect when you need a frying pan but the higher sides on this make it much more versatile. I can't be without it!
