The CIA Masters Collection Hyde Park 5" Cook's Knife is the all-around knife with all-out performance for slicing, chopping, mincing and dicing. Forged from a single piece of high carbon, no-stain German steel, the blade resists corrosion and holds an extremely sharp, easily maintained edge. To ensure superior balance and strength, the knife has a full tang (the solid piece of steel from the tip through the handle) that runs the entire length of the handle. The unique Balance-Forward handle design and streamlined bolster positions your hand forward for a secure and extremely comfortable grip, allowing you to put pressure on the blade without putting excess pressure on your hand or wrist. The handle's hygienic poly resin construction (polyoxymethylene or POM) is reinforced with fiberglass and triple-riveted for extra durability.
