Nice but not the best quality October 5, 2008 Wookiee (USA NEW YORK) They are sharp and feel good in the hand but they are not made of the good stainless steel. They are made of "stain resistant" steel which can rust. Ours has some rust stain spots on them already because we did not dry them off well after washing. The quality is not the greatest either, our 8 inch slicer was slightly curved when new. Other than that, for the price you get alot of knives and they are sharp and work well. I do not regret buying them. It was a good deal.
Great set, everything that you would need! March 6, 2008 Lionhog (Orange County, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
After researching knives for a while, I chose this set. For the price, and all that you get, who could ask for anything more! The weight and balance of these knives is great. They are very sharp to start out with, and have maintained a nice edge. If you are looking for a great set that will not set you back $500-$1000 or more, this is the one. To be sure that any knife will work for you, go to a store and hold different makes and models. If the knife is not comfortable in your hands, you won't use it. As I said, these knives are great for me! My favorite is the 8" Chef's knife. Now to the negative... The block takes up alot of counter space, so you may consider the 17 piece set if space is an issue. They are made in China, but they are forged from German high carbon no stain steel. The steak knives that come with the set are just okay, but the set is complete and I don't need anything else. I would recomend these to anyone looking for a new cutlery set! Enjoy...
Great set of Cutlery January 4, 2008 D. Ferrell (Streetsboro, OH USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great set of cutlery. My wife and I use something out of this set on a daily basis. We had one of the 7 inch Santoku knives to begin with and bought the whole set we liked it so much.
