Great knifes at great price! March 3, 2010 Orlando Rivera (Port St Lucie, FL USA) We had been in the market for some kitchen knifes for sometime, I decided to visit Amazon.com to see what was available. I had heard in the past how great Ginsu knifes were so we decided to give them a try. We are 100% satisfied with this product, would recommend to anyone looking for a good set of knifes at a good price.
Good but not great March 3, 2010 Dana You get what you pay for. I've had mine a week now. They are beautiful on the counter with all my other black appliances and they are sharp (for now anyway). My issue is that I put one in the dishwasher and the handle was faded immediately. However, The others that I hand washed faded as well. I guess there is a smooth coating on the handles that washes away if scrubbed or soaked too long in water. So now I have dull looking handles that arent so pretty on the counter. Oh well. They are definitely better than what I had before.
Great December 15, 2009 Carrie Ryan I bought this for my son and he loves it....good quality and nice looking too...
Okay, not top notch. October 12, 2009 P. Bonifaci 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
You get what you pay for. The knives are all serrated (meaning you cannot reasonably sharpen them). The blades are full-tang which is nice. The metal is not of the highest quality or thickness but it gets the job done.
This set makes for a decent utility knife set to complement a few more expensive quality knives. I recommend an expensive chef-knife be purchased along side if you are looking for any kind of complete kitchen.
You must buy these only---- Use windows media player for video below September 10, 2009 Kirk Taylor (san diego) 12 out of 15 found this review helpful
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3RJ3HVYV15PD1 Like most other knife sets they come in a brown block case. Not these.
