The paint comes off if they are used much and the most used gets dull.
I'd love to return or find out what the problem is. I bought 2 friends
complete sets as well as myself. All three sets are doing this.

The quality of materials and workmanship are excellent on this sandwich knife; it was bigger (wider blade) than I had expected - makes getting into smaller mustard jars a little tricky or impossible. Purchased as gift for mom, who seemed to like it.

We tend to buy a lot of French bread, and this knife works perfectly, without crushing the bread. Also, does a great job without squishing a sandwich. Very versatile, easy to clean and SHARP!!!

A great little tool, I can use the blade to cut my morning bagel, and the spreader side to schmear my cream cheese on it. Also does a nice job on tomatoes, or anything with a firm exterior and soft interior. Handy multipurpose gizmo for the kitchen away from home.
Another Great Knife from Komachi January 12, 2008

My second Komachi knife. I have made yeast bread for years and purchased their bread knife several years back and it's been the best bread knife for slicing homemade bread. When I saw this sandwich knife on Amazon I jumped on it. It is, as I expected, another great Komachi knife that I use on a regular basis.
