Product Description This 8" chef's knife from Kershaw is not only functional—it's beautiful. Its unique design and silver stainless steel construction is breathtaking. The blade's convex shape eliminates the suction that causes food to stick to standard knives. The handle is made of 302 stainless steel with a high carbon stainless steel blade. Also has a satin polished finish with full-tang construction. Easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Imported.

Razor sharp July 13, 2008 W. David Rainer Don't know why this line of Kershaw knifes didn't go over well. However, I did benefit from the closeouts and this knife is one of my favorites. I've got Henckels Pro S, Friedrich Dick, Wusthoff Classic and Furi Coppertails, but this Kershaw probably gets used more than the rest.
Can't beat it for the price January 20, 2008 S. Kuhlman (Maryville, IL United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I wasn't able to find anything about these knives from Kershaw's website. Apparantly this was a high-end collection a few years back. I was skeptical about the small, funny shaped handles on the 7700 series. However, once you start using them they just "fit". I have large hands and my control is excellent with these knives. The blade itself is thin with a super-sharp edge. If you prefer a stout, euro-style knife, this probably isn't for you. Don't even think about putting this in the dishwasher. The utility knife is a handy size. It's smaller and straighter than a Chef's knife, which makes it more appropriate for table-service and flat foods. My biggest complaint would be the lack of grip on the handle. I haven't slipped while using them, but more texture would put my mind at ease. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
