This pair of Farberware kitchen shears stays handy thanks to its magnetic holster. The strong magnetic back of the holster affixes firmly to a refrigerator, stove, or any other magnetic surface where the shears can be conveniently stored. Constructed of very sharp, heavy-duty stainless steel, the blades cut through everything from chicken tendons to cardboard and that hard-to-open plastic clamshell packaging, while the pointed tips snip parsley, chives, and other herbs right from the garden. The loop handles accommodate left or right hands and feature an integrated bottle opener. Measuring eight inches in overall length, the shears are dishwasher-safe but are best cared for when washed by hand. --Ann Bieri
