Amazon.com Review Gracefully tapered handles and classic simplicity characterize the Colonial Boston pattern. Handsome yet practical, this 18/8 stainless-steel flatware is corrosion resistant, retains its luster without polishing, and is dishwasher-safe. This 20-piece set provides full service for 4 diners. Each 5-piece setting consists of a dinner fork, a salad fork, a soup spoon, a teaspoon, and a knife. --Fred Brack What's in the Box 4 place settings. Each place setting consists of: dinner fork; salad fork; soup spoon; teaspoon; knife. 20 pieces total.

One bent fork tine, Oh Well August 4, 2008 chillwater (MIAMI, FL USA) Flatware is pretty nice and heavy. Don't think it will rust or anything. Had one bent fork tine. Hard to straiten something like that. No Big Whoop.

The design has changed. June 27, 2008 S. Bryce I like this silverware, but I bought it to replace some lost flatware and the design on the knives has changed, so it didn't match the old set.
Simple and sturdy June 16, 2008 Eric Ferraiuolo (Boston, MA USA) Got this set at a great price when they were on sale, very satisfied with them, I like the simple design, and they seem really sturdy (I scooped ice cream with the spoon without it bending).
Not 18/8, 18/0! Much cheaper steel that WILL corrode. December 26, 2007 Lou Wainwright (Beverly, MA USA) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
My order just arrived today, 12/26/07 and the steel was 18/0 - NOT 18/8. The difference is huge, the /8 means 8% nickel, which improves the finish, but more importantly gives stainless dishware its corrosion resistance. 18/0 will corrode in the dishwasher rapidly, 18/8 or /10 will last many many years. If you aren't sure what you have, 18/0 is magnetic, 18/8 or 18/10 aren't.
