Nambe is known for the alloy's excellent properties--it is lustrous, durable, and impervious to cracks and tarnish. These are the most beautiful salad servers..they are more like pieces of art. My everyday salad servers were looking too terrible to trot out in front of dinner guests and these Nambe servers are stunning. They are also quite functional and feel comfortable in your hands...not too big so as to have you standing arms length from the bowl and not too short so you end up with salad all over your hands. Simply perfect.
