Product Description The remarkable popularity of Nova Brown inspired this new collection featuring soft blues. Ranging from cornflower to deep indigo, the tones recall your favorite pair of comfy jeans. Just the right sort of feeling for casual dining. Please note: variations in surface and glaze are intrinsic to handcrafted stoneware and no two pieces are exactly the same.
Amazon.com Review Inspired by the artisan pottery of Central Java, Indonesia, Sango dinnerware items are handcrafted so that no two pieces are exactly alike. Guests will be delighted by the simple construction, slightly retro-Asian style, and the use of rich, earthy shades of color progressing from dark edges to light centers. The lustrous glaze harmonizes with a variety of decorative styles and occasions, while simultaneously creating a noticeable presence on the table. Perfectly sized for baking macaroni and cheese, a batch of brownies, or a seasonal crumble, this 9-inch square baker easily goes from the oven to the table. Trimmed with a slender cobalt blue edge that wraps around to encase the handles on each side and the fluted exterior, the Nova Blue collection also employs shades of cornflower blue, purple, gray, and white to create a distinctive dinnerware pattern. Handcrafted from oven proof ceramic, the baker can safely be placed in the microwave, dishwasher, and oven up to 500 degrees F. --Lea Werbel

can't withstand the heat July 21, 2008 likes to cook (Clarksburg, MD United States) Looks good, but broke after a year while in the stove. Made a big mess. I gave it two stars because I like the look and how it was easy to clean.
