Corelle Matching Ivy Pattern Serving Tray May 13, 2007

My Mother has the set of Corelle dishes which matches this tray and I have always admired them. Corelle is made by a well known and reliable company that manufactures quality products. I've always loved Hedera (English Ivy) and because of my attraction to the plant I'm also fond of many things which incorporate an English Ivy design element. I have a serving tray from another company with an English Ivy Design and it is showing some wear and I wanted to have a back up tray. Unfortunately the company (Design Imports of Providence RI) doesn't seem to be around anymore and I couldn't find them in searching the net. Although the ivy pattern is smaller and lighter in color, I was delighted to find this Corelle tray and a smaller one here at Amazon. I purchased one of each. I am thinking of buying one of each for my Mother as well.

I have been looking for a serving tray that I would be willing to use for a long time. Someone gave me a wooden one for a wedding gift and I never used it for fear of damaging it. This item is light weight and I'm not afraid to spill something on it. I believe it will be perfect for breakfast in bed.
