Product Description TUMBLER, LEAK PROOF TRAVEL TUMBLER,
|
| Customer Reviews:
Great, but heavy and bulky August 28, 2007 Ahania (Philadelphia, PA) This is a great-looking travel tumbler. It is spill-proof, which means you can put it in a bag. Also, the caribiner clip allows you to hang it from a backpack. Like the Nissan bottle I keep on my desk at work, this baby keeps things cold for hours and hours (and it almost keeps my coffee too hot!). The other reviewer is right: I've never met a cup holder that would hold this bulky thing. And be warned that this is heavy. That means it's tough and can take a beating, but it also means that if your other stuff is fairly light and you have this hanging off your bag, you will definitely feel it. Be careful not to knock someone on the head with this if commuting by bus, subway, or train!
Good, but I wish the mouth was just a wee bit bigger August 4, 2007 Domenico Bettinelli (Holbrook, MA USA) The tumbler does exactly what I'd hoped: prevent spills. The lid design allows you to open it just enough to sip from the recessed top, corralling the liquid so it doesn't go everywhere. And it insulates pretty well. I've opened it up for hot coffee hours later. What are the downsides? The wide bottom may not fit in all cup holders. And the mouth isn't quite wide enough for whole ice cubes for summertime iced coffee. Minor quibbles? Perhaps. Oh, and I do like the carabiner for hanging it off my messenger bag for hands-free transport. With the leakproof lid, I can do so confidently.
Heavy duty and hot! January 3, 2007 M. Jones (Michigan, USA) Built like a tank. After running hot water in it to heat it up, my coffee stays hot-hot for at least 3 hours. Even after 6 hours it is very warm.
