I got 2 sets of these to replace my heavy, clunky dishes that didn't stack well and chipped way too easily. These stack so nicely, which is important for me because I have a small kitchen with very limited cupboard space. With my old dishes I used to have to keep some of them in my basement, but now I can fit both sets in my kitchen with more room than I had before. They are light and durable, too. I love the cherry blossom pattern, even though I don't normally like pink. It is very pretty and simple. I really like the square shape, I just think it looks a little more modern. They arrived right on time, nothing broken at all. Overall, I'm very happy with them. They are my first set of Corelle and if I ever need to get more dishes I will certainly get Corelle again.

On the whole I am very pleased with this set of dishes. It is much thicker than the older set of Corelle I replaced. They fit well in my dishwasher-the square shape keeps little splinters from occurring along the edges that sit below the rack on round dishes.
My only disappointment is that the cups are not made from the same material. I wanted cups made in the USA because I wanted a guarantee that they did NOT contain lead-based glazes. I feel that it should have been stated that these were ceramic cups manufactured outside the USA both on the company's website and in the product description. There is a very tiny disclaimer on the box that cannot be seen when purchased online. When asked, the company has assured me that the cups have been tested by an independent company and no traces of lead have been found.I have chosen to keep them.

We have been "Corelle" fans for many years; owning severeral sets before this one. "Ultra" is a substantial improvement in the product line. Added durability (not exactly "Bullet Proof"), but VERY close, and a beautiful compliment to our kitchen table...what more could I ask for ??? We have young grandchildren that are very much a part of our everyday lives; and IF we find something that we can use and enjoy without fear of destruction, we welcome it. THIS IS IT !!! I strongly recommend Corelle Ultra as "everyday" dishes for both family and friends. We own an RV,and we were so impressed with the "Ultra" that we purchasd an extra complete set for "home away from home". GJM

I've had several sets of corelle over the years and my daughter picked out this set for a gift. The first plate out of the box was so poorly printed out of line that single branch tips were double branch tips. In looking over the dishes the picture quality was very coarse and looked and felt like a decal. We didn't even open the second box because we knew we were sending it back.
