That is exactly what it is... a nice weighted set for toddlers that can self-feed and older children. I have three... a 2,4 & 5 year old. My girls love the theme.... sadly... so does my boy! LOL
They wash well and hold up well too... the only downside is that if you throw them in your dishwasher on a daily basis on the strongest setting... then the image start to become "scratched off". Our Dora set lost it's rubber piece... but we still use them. Again... great value and wonderful quality... we just abuse our sets LOL.

I love these kinds of forks and spoons, so do my kids (now ages 5 and 3). The only problem I've had with them is that sometimes they randomly snap on the inside, making them unusable. Kind of a drag if the Diego fork is broken, then it's no fun to use just the Diego spoon, etc.
