5 out of 5 stars Awesome spoon!   November 12, 2008

I love this spoon! Keeps my counter clean & I love that it's made in the USA! I use a scotchbrite sponge to clean my wooden spoons....that's what Jonathan's Spoons suggests. It keeps the wood feeling smooth and looking great! Looks great in my cherry / granite kitchen!

4 out of 5 stars I wish it came in heat-proof plastic.   January 19, 2008

This is a very nice wooden spoon. It balances perfectly on a pot. It won't work on the smaller pans like a 2 quart All Clad. I threw it in the dishwasher which I probably shouldn't have done because the grain had risen slightly. I wish it came in a heat-proof plastic because then it could be tossed in the dishwasher. I also prefer plastic or metal because I frankly can't stand the feel of raw wood. It has the chalkboard effect on me. Call me strange but that's the way it is.
