Amazon.com Review Cuisipro makes premium mesh strainers in a variety of sizes. At nine inches long and three inches across, this one is ideal for quick kitchen tasks such as dusting powdered sugar on cakes, skimming soup, or straining a cup of homemade broth. Both the tightly woven mesh and the stay-cool, loop style handle are constructed of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel. A smaller loop hooks over the side of a cup or bowl so that liquids can be poured through with ease. When finished with the task at hand, the strainer simply slips into the dishwasher for cleanup. Cuisipro backs up its products with a limited lifetime warranty, and will repair or replace any item found to be defective. --Ann Bieri

Perfection - I use it everyday June 19, 2008 Borat (NJ USA) The other reviewers are living in LaLa land. Did they see the picture? This strainer is EXACTLY as advertised and I use it everyday to strain my loose tea. The hook on the top keeps it in place over my cup -- That's what it's for. A fine mesh is what I need. This is a perfect tool and I wouldn't change a thing. Yeah, I can't strain a watermellon through it but I think I'll survive. LOL!
Not good for juice February 15, 2008 R. Tooley (New York, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
One of the obvious drawbacks of shopping online is that you can't see the product first. This strainer is very tightly "woven", so you can't strain things like fresh juice very easily because it gets all clogged up.
Good but.... December 4, 2005 L. Rhea (LA, USA) This is a good strainer but the piece that comes off the side opposite the handle makes it hard to skim things like fat out of a except for off the top of the liquid.
