A good tool October 14, 2008 Stan Baker (Austin, TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
For many years, I've lived with the four-dollar colander picked up on a whim hours after ruining my last four-dollar colander. This is a light but sturdy tool. It readily cleans, especially of oils, and after several tomato-based encounters retains its original hue.
great item!! April 9, 2008 L. Carr (Coward, South Carolina) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a good size colander for draining pasta or just for rinsing your fruits or vegetables. It's a handy item when you are preparing a meal or snack. I especially love the color, too.

This colander is A+++++ in every way and the color is amazing!!! Wish they had a smaller hand held version because i'd buy that too.
Happy to have it in the kitchen January 24, 2007 Ian S. Mcadams (Austin, TX) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
For some reason, I thought that maybe this colander was a flexible, folding rubber/plastic, but fortunately this wasn't the case! On pulling it out of the box, I was surprised and impressed with the whole-colander look of it, with all the drainage holes, the color, and the feel. It has a good weight, supported nicely by the handles. And especially, it has enough of a diameter to really be functional for draining all usual things in the kitchen. I hope it's indestructible, as it "sounds" a little fragile on knocking the counter with it, almost like knocking a glass, but it's supposed to be an awesome kind of plastic, so what else would you need in a colander?!
