Made of durable stoneware, these square plates can be used as oversized dinner plates or as chargers, placed beneath smaller plates, adding depth and style to your table. They're from Corelle's Hearthstone line, a stoneware collection that combines bold shapes with unique colors. Dinnerware pieces from the Hearthstone collection, are heavier than the traditional Corelle and are resistant to chipping and breaking, though care should be taken when serving and cleaning since they are stoneware, not the composition glassware so familiar with the Corelle name. The Hearthstone plates are dishwasher, microwave, and oven-safe. Service for 4, includes 4-each 11.5-inch Dinner Plates, 8.75-inch Luncheon Plates, 28-oz Soup/Cereal Bowls, 14-oz Mugs.

I love them. Everyone else loves them. The size is so impressive. Great presentation of food becomes an everyday event with these dishes. My regret is that I did not order more than 2 sets. If they become available again I will add to my set. The Company I received them from was Cooking.com and they were great. I had broken pieces on arrival. I called and they shipped me the replacement pieces. I did not have to go to the expense and aggravation of shipping anything back to them. I am very pleased with them and Amazon.

You'll never find a better buy here. This set is exactly as pictured and even better when I unpacked it. These are quality, heavy, and very rich looking dishes...many compliments!! I was worried about breakage but every piece came intact, as Amazon TRIPLE BOXED it...thank you Amazon!! I even splurged and bought a black Ginkgo Le Prix 20-Piece Flatware Set to go with this fine Stoneware...very nice match!! Amazon is the best, never let me down once with my many purchases!!

Love the dishes. My family enjoyed the large plates during the holidays. The small plates are great for chips and sandwiches. Cleanup is a breeze.

I KNOW SOME PEOPLE COMPLAIN THAT THE (CHARGER) LARGER DISHES DON'T FIT IN THEIR CABINETS. THEY DIDN'T FIT ON THE FIRST SHELF BUT THEY DID ON THE SECOND AND THIRD. AND THEY LOOK SO GREAT AND SOLID, I MIGHT JUST PUT THEM IN A DISH TRAY AND LET PEOPLE VIEW THEM FROM MY COUNTER. THEY ARE A SOLID, STRONG, QUALITY ITEM AND I JUST PURCHASED ANOTHER SET. I LOVE THEM AND THEY MATCH MY FURNITURE PERFECTLY. THE BOX (WHEN IT SHIPPED) WEIGHED ABOUT 30 POUNDS BUT IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT WHEN I OPENED THAT BOX AND SAW SOME "REAL" DISH WARE! NOT THAT CHEAP, LIGHT, BREAKS IN THE DISHWASHER CRAPPY STUFF. I WILL BUY AGAIN!
