Cheerful looking dishes at great price December 25, 2008

I bought this same pattern for my parent's anniversary gift two years ago at Williams-Sonoma, paying more than 3 times this price. When I saw these dishes on Amazon on sale in late Spring 2008 and needing dishes for new house, I immediately bought service for 8. Although these dishes are slightly different from those from Williams-Sonoma, they seem equal in quality. The sugar bowl is too small but good for people who don't use much sugar. They fit in dishwasher and are microwave safe.

I already owned the Girasole pattern and bought Sole for a change in color scheme. These dishes are substantial and set a beautiful table.
