Product Description Crown caps are easily removed from bottles with minimum effort. The shape of the opening device lifts crown caps almost without bending so that the tops can be re-used to close bottles.
Amazon.com Review One of Roesle's superb kitchen tools, this 6.7-inch bottle opener flips the caps off beer and soft-drink bottles with ease. Like all Roesle tools, utensils, and Open Kitchen storage components, the opener is made of 18/10 stainless steel for rustproof beauty and long-lasting durability. The round handle has a satin finish to conceal finger marks. The handle is sealed against water and has a hanging ring so the opener can be conveniently stored on a hook in the Open Kitchen system of Roesle basic rails and Gridwalls or hung on any hook or peg. The opener is sturdy, balanced, and exceptionally comfortable in the hand. All Roesle products are made in Germany, are dishwasher-safe, and carry a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Perfect Opener November 1, 2008 Robert Lee Okay, this is not made in Germany, but it works beautifully, is a work of art (credit for which goes to our German friends), and is well worth the money. For me, part of enjoying a good bottle of beer or wine, is opening it, which means forget twist-off caps. Caps are removed so effortlessly that you remain in total control of the process with practically no chance of tipping the bottle. I have not found a better tool for removing the cap from a bottle of beer.
Beware -- MADE IN CHINA August 18, 2008 James (Hawaii) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was excited to receive my Rosle Bottle Opener, which cost me nearly $20, but its "German made" so the extra cost is well worth it, right? -- when it arrived the joke was on me..... a "Made in China" sticker was on the handle. I let amazon know about the problem but they have not changed the product description (it still says made in Germany - LIES!). The product itself is not horrible, but certainly not worth $20. I should have purchased the OXO bottle opener for $10.
The Best! April 13, 2008 StellaJane (Surprise, AZ) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is the best bottle opener I have ever used. I know, it's a uni-tasker, but there is never difficulty getting a bottle cap off with this beauty! And it feels so good in my hand! I think it is my favorite of my kitchen utensils.
Rosle - not always "Made in Germany" October 6, 2007 S. Kelliher (New York, USA) 4 out of 8 found this review helpful
I don't actually own the Rosle bottle opener so I cannot comment directly on it. I do own a few other Rosle products and have found them to work well. However, my comment is to counter something in Fred Brack's official Amazon review as I believe he is misleading customers. Not all Rosle products are "Made in Germany." Many are "Made in China" and it's difficult to tell from the labels Rosle attaches to its products. Williams Sonoma, for example, adds "Made in China" onto its price sticker, probably to spare customers from finding out later and being incensed. Rosle's Chinese products may be as good as Rosle's German products. I don't know. But, personally, I think there's more to it. If I'm going to pay Rosle's prices, I want a quality product made in a country with decent labor laws and pollution controls. That's not China. Before you pay German prices, check if the Rosle product you're ordering is really made there.
Awesome Company! September 21, 2005 Erin Egerton 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
