Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review Angled to fit a pie plate's sloped sides, thin and flexible enough to slip under a pie wedge without breaking the crust, this tool plates a piece of pie without spilling the cherries. Its shape makes it ideal for quiche and other wedge-shaped baked goods, and for turnovers and other pastries that are too hot to be lifted by hand. The blade has serrated edges for cutting wedges without relying on a knife. Oxo regularly wins design awards for its Good Grips utensils with their familiar black, processed-rubber handles that offer control wet or dry. Because this tool is meant to be used gently, its handle does not have Oxo's characteristic "fins," or side grooves, that flex under pressure. Nor is it oversized like most Good Grips handles. Instead, it tapers toward the end to fit snugly into your palm. --Fred Brack
Product Description Featuring a stainless steel head and a soft, tapered handle. Serrated on both sides for easy cutting for left or right hand. Dishwasher safe.

Different style May 28, 2008 B. Finzi (NH, USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this one to match with my other tools from OXO. I was disappointed to notice that the layout is different and the holder is made from a different material. I don't understand OXO with its many different lines. It's really hard to match everything.
Excellent OxO Utensil! March 8, 2007 Bluffheights90814 (Long Beach, CA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a perfect utensil for getting pies out of the pan as well and the serrated edge is perfect for cutting slices of pie. One word of caution, the serrated edge is sharp and care should be taken in washing as it could cut you. Otherwise a great produce by a great company!
