Amazon.com Review Enhance an Italian meal of antipasto and pesto by presenting the linguini and salami upon plates from this elegant 16-piece tableware set. Designers at Corelle Livingware drew inspiration for the tableware from Renaissance-era frescoes, employing similarly warm and earthy hues around plate borders and imitating the texture of freshly painted plaster. In addition to the beautiful display, the set's dishes endure the tests of time while meshing well into kitchens of all decors with its understated display. With service for four, each setting includes a 10-1/4-inch dinner plate, a 7-1/4-inch salad or dessert plate, an 18-ounce soup or cereal bowl, and an 11-ounce stoneware mug. To construct Livingware tableware, Corelle thermally compresses three layers of glass, producing a vitrelle glass composition that is lighter than other dishware, but more durable than conventional glass. The tableware resists cracks and chips with great success, while the lamination compression process combats stains, scratches, and fading. The user-friendly plates and bowls are dishwasher- and microwave- safe and warm food in conventional ovens up to 350 degrees F. The mugs, however, find safe use in the microwave only. For the best care, avoid soaking stoneware mugs for prolonged periods of time. Corelle discourages the use of abrasives or scouring on these pieces. Users benefit from the three-year limited warranty against vitrelle breaks and chips. This set weighs 10.9 pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling What's In the Box 4 place settings. Each place setting consists of: 10-1/4-inch dinner plate; 7-1/2-inch salad plate; 18-ounce soup bowl; 11-ounce mug. 16pieces total.

Corelle Dishes poorly packed November 23, 2008 Domenick Vitulli (Webster, NY USA) I order two sets of Corelle Impressions 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4, Fresco style. In both sets, one of the cups was broken during shipment. I would not order Corelle products online for shipment based on this experience.
problems were easily resolved August 20, 2008 L. Clark I bought two sets, and the pattern was off-center on several plates. I called Corelle's customer service (the number's listed in another review), and they were excellent. I spent no time on hold, and with no fuss at all they arranged to send me replacements. (I didn't have to send back the defective ones.) The replacements came in about a week. So, if you can afford a two-minute phone call and a week with a less-than-perfect set, go ahead and get these.
Bad Quality April 11, 2008 Dan B (Dayton, OH) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The bowls and cups are fine but the plates are just poorly made. When you stack them you can see how far off they are, they are not all made the same. The printing is the worst thing though. We bought 12 settings and 6 of each plate sizes were terrible. Colors didn't match, big white patches, printed off center, and you could see through the red line on some. I called the company and they sent me replacements but they are just as bad. It is a nice pattern but if you care about quality at all, don't buy them!
Buyer Beware March 28, 2008 Monica (Wayne, NJ) I am very happy with my purchase of Corelle dishes. I was very unhappy to find out that the mugs are not warrantied. I have already broken two. I would also like to say how happy I am with Amazon. When my dishes arrrived several where broken. Amazon shipped new ones immediately.
Good stuff, but... March 12, 2008 William Zahner (Albuquerque, New Mexico USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The dinnerware is fine. It looks great and is very break resistant. However, the cups are not "Corelle", but stoneware, and one arrived already broken. Needless to say, the cups will not stand up to use nearly as well as the other components.
