This dinnerware is Vitrelle2??? glass ??? thicker than the original Corelle material. Vitrelle2??? is made in the same hub lamination process but with a core glass that is 70 percent thicker than our original material. I ordered two sets of these dishes. The only issue I can across was that one of the bowls had some imperfections. I called up corelle and they shipped me a replacement without any hassle.

I got 2 sets of these to replace my heavy, clunky dishes that didn't stack well and chipped way too easily. These stack so nicely, which is important for me because I have a small kitchen with very limited cupboard space. With my old dishes I used to have to keep some of them in my basement, but now I can fit both sets in my kitchen with more room than I had before. They are light and durable, too. I love the cherry blossom pattern, even though I don't normally like pink. It is very pretty and simple. I really like the square shape, I just think it looks a little more modern. They arrived right on time, nothing broken at all. Overall, I'm very happy with them. They are my first set of Corelle and if I ever need to get more dishes I will certainly get Corelle again.
