Impressed with the quality and ease of assembly December 30, 2008 W. Stock Who would not be skeptical of a $15 coat rack which costs almost as much to ship? I live in an area where my options to buy a coat rack are overpriced antique shops or a big box retailer. This rack looks high quality, has about seven heavy coats on it right now (so yes it is sturdy) and it was a snap to assemble. I hate buying low priced foreign made products but this one makes you appreciate the benefits of globalization.
Quick and simple! December 28, 2008 Alan Vallance This product looks great. It made for light loads, but will sever find in my house. It was a breeze to put together! All screws together and BAM! Can I have your coat please?
OK for the price. December 13, 2008 Maura Zimmerman I was happy with the look of this coat rack but I will warn buyers, if you are planning to hang many coats on the rack, don't buy this one. I've had this for about 1 year and 2 of the wooden hooks have fallen off. Once they fall off, they really can't be reattached. For the price, I think the product is OK. I decided to buy a new metal rack to avoid this problem again.
Excellent value. July 21, 2008 J. Hoelscher (Texas) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this coat stand for my office and have been very pleased with it after about 3 mos. It looks good and is relatively inexpensive. The assembly is easy, everything screws together. It has held up under a good load (I keep a spare suit, whatever jacket I'm wearing that day, an umbrella, my messenger bag w/ trial books, and whatever visitors hang on it). No problems so far and it seems pretty stable. Actually, I like it's look better than some more expensive ones that my colleagues keep in their offices. I noticed one reviewer said the legs kept falling of off hers, but mine came with a small round piece that screwed into the bottom to secure the legs. No need for carpenter's glue, but if that fairly small piece got lost somewhere, you would have trouble. The footprint is kinda big at the bottom, however, w/ only three legs, it can be squeezed up against other furniture where a four-legged model couldn't (lots of space between legs). Highly recommend.
Beatiful but it breaks April 27, 2008 M. Johnson (Milwaukee/Chicago Area) It's very nice in many aspects; not too large, not too small but it does break at the assembly points so be careful how much of a load you put on it. You may want to glue the assembly points during construction just to be on the safe side.
