I use a Dyson, but I hate getting it out every time there are some crumbs on the floor. The Swiffer Carpet Flick works much better than I expected and is very effective at 'flicking' up loose debris, hair, etc. It is not a substitute for a good vacuum cleaner, but it actually picked up stuff my old cheapo Wal-Mart Eureka left behind so I think its a great little tool.
Only downside is that it was discontinued.

I love the carpet flick, they are not sold anymore, anymore I use it all the time, great for quick clean up without taking out the vaccum cleaner.

The swiffer carpet flick refills are just wonderful. They pick up small items from your carpet and save getting out the big cleaner. The best thing is --you can just throw them away and use another the next day. They need to go back on the market. Melba

I was unable to find this product in any K-Mart, Wal Mart store and didn't know what I was going to do as I just love my little carpet flick sweeper. That is the reason I purchase 48 refills. Everytime you buy something new it isn't long before they have taken off the market the refills that you need for the product. Thank you very much for being there and having the product that I so badly needed.

I am deployed in Iraq and was very excited to get this product because the literature said it is light weight, doesn't require electricity to operate and would clean the little 3'x6' carpet that I have in my area where I sleep. This little carpet gets covered in Iraqi dirt so quickly that desperatly needed something to help keep it clean. When I finally received the product it took three of the adhesive strips just to pick up all the lint, and crumbs that were on that carpet. Now I use it every other day. It doesn't clean as good as I hoped it would, but it is better than nothing.
