They're kind of expensive, but the last one lasted well over a year, despite heavy HEAVY use. I just knocked it clean every time I emptied the vacuum and only replaced it because its "recommended," not because of loss of performance.

If you have the canister vac that requires this filter, buy in bulk. You will need one about every 3 months and now they are hard to come by. I ordered this product a month ago but have not yet received it from the vendor. You will spend more on filters for this vac in the long run that what the vac cost.

This filter is what I needed although it's hard to clean and I think it costs more than it should.
