OK for using as a desk fan November 4, 2008

I actually got this fan hoping it had a little more turbo/high velicity power especially noting it's fairly high price, but it works mainly as a desk fan and it's not really meant to be used to vent a house. It is well crafted in all metal, unlike the cheap plastic that usually chips or cracks. It is noted in the description that the fan oscillates, but it doesn't. It is a stationary fan with two speeds (high and low). The switch is conveniently located on top for easy access. I actually bought it for a better price on Ebay.
