 Perfect for exercising September 25, 2008

I first used this fan several times at a resort while on the treadmill. It does an excellent job of cooling me down and added several laps to my excercise routine. So I ordered one for my house. Works just as well at home. Several settings with a thermostat control PLUS three speed fan.
Another review here indicated it was noisy. I would not call it quiet but it does not prevent me from watching TV while on the treadmill.
Its a good buy, in my opinion.

This fan definitely is not what I expected. It's very loud even on the lowest setting and doesn't move much air. My old ToastMaster fan that finally wore out after 15yrs was far better. My advice, don't buy one of these slim profile fans if you want good airflow and silent operation.

Three very quiet speeds and very helpful with thermostat! It works like the premium box fan. It does a very good job cooling. WHAT A GREAT FAN!
