item looks old and used and has finger prints all over, the old one i was throwing away looked shinier and newer then this one, that why online shoping is risky, cant trust and cant see the product u r buying until u get it... a used filter is worse then not having a filter i think...

We purchased a Sears Kenmore Elite sidebyside refrigerator 2 years ago and faithfully bought their Sears brand filters until I realized how much we were spending annually on these. We shopped Amazon and found our water filter by the brand name of the company that makes these Kenmore refrigerators... and save a lot of money. Instead of paying $50 each, we are buying 3 for $99 or less! We asked Sears why they don't carry these filters in their stores and were told we could buy them at Sears Parts. Sears Parts were $50! Thanks Amazon!

Even though this is for the Whirlpool side-by-side it is the same filter used for Kenmore refrigerators and much cheaper here than on the Sears website. Easy to order, quick shipping will buy from again.
