| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Iron almost anywhere with our Iron Cord Holder and six foot extension plug! The unit keeps the cord up and out of the way and makes the iron portable since it plugs right in to the ironing board. No more tangled cords! Flexible holder clamps to ironing board and folds for easy storage. Prevents tangled and twisted cords, Iron not included.

Only one useful feature November 12, 2008 PENname (Albuquerque, NM USA) This is truly a piece of junk with only one redeeming feature. Why junk? Because the upright cord holder consists of three separate pieces: two steel rods and a spring between them. Nothing holds them together except gravity. Pull the cord too far in any direction, when you move the iron to one end of the board or the other, for example, and it falls apart. Directions tell you to attach the holder to the center of the board to avoid this problem, but that blocks the side of the board. Then you can only use the end of the board if the piece you are ironing is wider than the board. Not very useful. The only way to use this thing is in combination with the Polder cord minderPolder 90505-05H Cordminder. The Polder device holds the cord beautifully (although the plastic clip that holds the cord will break with usage), but it has no place to plug the iron into. I want to be able to move the iron farther from the wall socket than the Polder allows. I cut the upright piece off the BOS holder with a hacksaw, leaving only the electrical socket attached to the mounting. I mounted that on the ironing board next to the Polder, plugged the iron into the socket, and plugged the end of the BOS cord into the wall socket. Pity to have to pay $10 for an electrical socket, but since I had done so in expectation of a good product, this is a way to salvage some use from it. It's also a pity Polder can't put a socket and cord into their product and make a sturdier clip at the top. Somebody used to make a good cord holder like this, but I can't find it anymore.

Totally IMPOSIBLE to assemble per instructions or any other way except by using Gorilla Glue. So cheaply made it is all but worthless.
