a really nice covererlet November 17, 2008 P. shiman (mystic, ct) I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. It is a beautiful color, heavy weight, and so soft. We love the way it makes our bedroom look and the color was actually easy to match up with curtains. I would certainly recommend this beautiful coverlet for looks, price, and comfort.
Look but don't touch July 3, 2008 Victoria Engle (San Francisco, CA United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got the coverlet in black and tried to keep my expectations low because the price was so great, but I was still disappointed. The coverlet is very very thin and the velvet side feels horrible and scratchy- it is also very stiff. However, the reverse side of the coverlet is fairly soft, and I'm hoping that after a few more washes the velvet will soften and the stiffness will fade. As far as appearances go, the coverlet is very pretty and looks lush, so if that is more important to you than the item's practicality, then you've found your coverlet.
beautiful color, warmer than expected September 7, 2007 Jane (MN United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The amethyst is a deep eggplant color that is gorgeous. I also like the satin backing that doesn't match the front color exactly---it's in a slightly lighter color. A few issues: this coverlet was much warmer than expected and will be too heavy for warm weather. I also have concerns that such heavy material won't do well in my washing machine. The queen quilt is 88x90, and for my 16" deep mattress I find a 90X90 gives better coverage. Other than that I have no complaints---the fabric is soft, flexible, and well-sewn.

I am very happy with the coverlet - it is just what I was looking for; light weight and velvety. It seems to be well-made and sturdy - doesn't look "cheap" like alot of the products you buy online look when you receive them. Serves it's purpose just fine!

Great value for the money. We purchased a Queen Coverlet in Taupe, but as it turned out the true name of the color was Antique Gold. The color is just as pictured. I suppose "Antique Gold" is a better description than "Taupe". The Coverlet is rather thick, but not too heavy. We need it for decorative purposes, so I wish it was a little thinner. Other than that I'm very happy with it. I've been looking for this type of coverlet for over a year!
