I used this grill for the first time tonight. I cooked flank steaks, serving three. As a self-proclaimed grill meister, I was expecting the worst, for what could compare to the real-deal in the backyard? To my pleasant surprise, the steaks were delicious. They had the stripes from the grill on both sides and cooked quickly. I believe the trick is to turn on the grill at least 10 minutes prior to cooking. Let it get real hot, then put the meat on and let it sizzle. Flip it once, cook to temperature and serve. My wife and our friend both thought it tasted great. As far as the clean-up, it was easy. You have to take a couple of minutes and clean between the slats, but it was all done in less then 5 minutes. Can't wait till the next meal! Glen

Super-pleased with the grill: cooks well and relatively evenly for a small, electrical surface; easy clean up. I can't see doing much cooking on anything other than the highest temperature setting -- perhaps vegetables -- but that setting is perfect for the meats I have grilled. The food even comes off looking like it has been cooked on a true outdoor gas or charcoal grill. Overall, no complaints as it suits my needs (small city apartment) perfectly.

I bought this grill because I live in an apartment with no patio. I must say it works just great. I still haven't quite figured out if the aroma scenter in truly useful or not but that doesn't matter. If you are good at marinating meat before cooking this grill is ideal. A bit hard to clean, but I found a good scrub brush and dishwasher cycle does the trick. All in all there are a lot of griddles, Foreman type grills, and grill pans but I found the DeLonghi Healthy Grill to be the best in preparing meat with perfect grill marks if your into that type of thing. All in all its worth the price and better than the competition out there.

I have mixed feelings about this grill but mostly dsiappointment. Food cooked on the grill is OK but nothing special. Things that are just a little thick are not done very well at all. The edges of thick hamburgers never really cook. The same is true of pork chops. The biggest disappointment is the so called "non-stick" surface. I called the manufacturer about this and they told me two thing: 1) the surface needs to be treated with a non-stick spray or coated with something like olive oil. They also said, that although "they" say not to do this, I should try to wash the surface while it is still hot. Any way you look at it, it takes a great deal of effort to clean this thing especially when you use anything like BBQ sauce or Duck Sauce. I've discarded the grill -- its that bad.

I researched indoor grills for months after having to give up my outdoor grill.
This grill is easy to use. The cleanup is quick and easy.
The steak was flavorful and juicy. Some smoke, but not bad.
I would recommend this to friends and family.
