Product Description
Manufacturer: Rival Model #: WS60-T (WS60T) Condition: Brand New In Retail Box Warranty: Limited Warranty List Price: $59.99 With this Rival Electric Wok you get a durable first-rate wok and some great bonuses: a tempura rack, a steaming rack, a see-through banded glass lid and a set of chopsticks. Made of sturdy 18/10 stainless steel this wok resists scratching and includes a die cast aluminum embedded element designed to heat-up and cool-down quickly. The handy adjustable temperature control goes up to 400 degrees and can be removed for easy cleaning in the dishwasher. Includes a non-stick coating and heat resistant handles. Product Review: A wok's curved shape lets a relatively small amount of cooking oil circulate back down in to the well of the pan, where it is scooped and stirred back onto whatever's cooking. This makes it useful for healthy cooking. And the high temperatures of stir-frying bring out accordingly rich flavors. This 6-liter electric model is a solid, all-around useful pan to have in any kitchen. The nonstick cooking surface means you need even less oil, and cleaning it is very easy. Use wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensils while cooking; metal implements will scratch the nonstick coating. The instruction booklet comes with a few Chinese recipes, but this wok is more universal than that. Many things that can be sauted or pan-fried can be done in a wok; even quick soups can be made from start to finish in it. (If you do make something with a lot of sauce or broth, ladle it out rather than trying to tip the pan and pour; remember--even the outer side of the cooking surface gets extremely hot during cooking.) Features: - Heavy-duty nonstick electric wok with 6-liter capacity

Works well, a few problems. September 23, 2008 demari18 (Fort Worth, TX) This wok is a lot of fun! Unfortunately, it does not come completely clean with washing. Oil leaves a sticky, seemingly permanent residue on the wok. Less of a problem and more of an annoyance is the loud metallic 'bang' noice the metal makes when it cools. It makes me jump every time!
Brought me into the kitchen January 2, 2008 M. Britz (A U.S. Army Base, Germany) I am a newlywed in my 20s and just learning to cook. The wok is not only my favorite thing in the kitchen, but my husband's too. We've really shared some good times in the kitchen making stirfry, fried rice, fajita veggies, and more in it. We use ours 3-4 times a week and love it!

Best value electric wok! June 9, 2007 Brian Mitchell (Chatham, Illinois) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is the second of these woks we have purchased, and if one of them ever goes on the fritz, we'll buy another. Easy to use, simple to clean, multi-functional, and worth more than the price. Electric woks are getting hard to find in stores these days, but this one is worth ordering. The fried chicken we made in it last night was the best ever, and our fajitas are to die for.
What a 'Wok'! June 7, 2007 Murphy54 (Virginia) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I had no idea what I was getting when I made the purchase. The picture, while good, can not tell you everything. When I opened the box, it was delivered in, I was surprised and happily so. It seemed so much bigger than I had expected. I use it, mostly for just my own dining, but I find that I can cook for 1-2 more, without a problem. The book that was included has some good recipies in it, but then, go on the net and you can find soooooo many others to try. The one draw back I found, is the spatula. I wish it had come with a smaller version, rather than the chop sticks. It is easy to put together and just as easy to clean up.
