Product Description This is the blender the professionals use, with its gleaming 32 oz. stainless steel carafe and heavy duty commercial grade motor. This Professional Bar Blender can crush ice fast, at both high and low speeds. Great for blending frozen fruits, slushes, drinks and a lot more. The top-quality stainless steel blades cut swiftly through solids and liquids and will whip, mix, chop, puree or liquefy in seconds. The self-cleaning blade assembly is just one more reason this premium blender is the professional's choice, and one more reason to blend with a Waring!Powerful enough to churn out party drinks all night long, this stainless steel, two-speed Professional Bar Blender is a conversation piece in itself. The 32-oz. stainless steel container features a patented clover-leaf design that creates a unique whirling-vortex action, controlled by a two-speed toggle switch. Use it for blending drinks, crushing ice and pureeing soups or sauces. Heavy-duty commercial motor, self-cleaning blade assembly. Black base.
Amazon.com Review Bandleader and inventor Fred Waring introduced the first blender in 1936; more than 60 years later the Waring blender remains the standard for the field. With this stainless-steel, black bar blender, the company has captured perfectly the sleek, modern look of its first models. The perfect cocktail party appliance, it doesn't just look good but has a strong, efficient (though slightly noisy) motor that zips through ice and frozen strawberries. The metal keeps drinks cold longer, too. The blade is nondetachable, so you never need to worry about the seal deteriorating. The stainless-steel container is also perfect for a classic diner-style milkshake. --Maria Dolan Editor's Choice:Waring's professional bar blender only has two speeds, high and low, and it doesn't need any more, which is why it's our choice for best blender over $100. This 350-watt blender is really for professional bartenders, but it's also a dream for the home user that plans on blending often, or on blending a lot of ice or frozen drinks. The blades are stainless steel, as is the 32-ounce jug.

The "crusher"... September 10, 2008 C. Walter (NJ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
without question, BEST blender I've ever used. Crushes ice in mere seconds with NO chunks or ice pieces - period! I make a smoothie drink every morning using powder Isagenix mix, water, fresh fruit and 6 large ice cubes. Creates unbelieve thick smooth shake with absoulety no ice chips. Expensive, yes, but you get what you pay for. Makes incredible frozen Margharita's too! - Purchase this bar blender, you will not be dissapointed.

Works great but it is TOO LOUD. Wish I had done more research before purchasing. For the price, I expected it to be quieter. Friends have bought blenders from other places. (i.e. Williams & Sonoma) and tell me theirs is not noisy.
Best Blender Ever!! August 28, 2008 Kelly Lawson (Seattle, WA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is hands down the best blender I have ever used! It has no trouble with quickly blending everything I put in it. It's easy to clean, it's sooo nice looking and I love the cloverleaf container design! No latching the jar onto the base, simply set the container on the base and little feet against the clover leaf shape hold it in place. I'm so happy every morning when I go to make my vita-smoothie! Buy it! You'll love it!
high performing basic blender June 2, 2008 M. baker (california) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had the blender about 3 weeks and have used it several times for pureeing soup and yesterday for pureeing softened dried peppers. It has done an excellent job on each. The minimal number of settings (high and low) has not been a detriment -- medium is still stronger than my previous Krups blender. The blade moves the contents around very well. I'm glad I chose it.
Outstanding March 28, 2008 Larry Knight (Myrtle Beach, SC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This blender is amazing, it is the best I have ever bought or seen. It makes my shake with ice in about 15 seconds, it is not loud and there are no ice lumps left. It looks great, easy to clean, etc. I bought the stainless steel model, it comes as one container and is great. I could not be happier with any product, I had bought the Magic Bullet before this and it does nothing compared to this. I would highly recommend this product to anyone searching for a blender that is quick, quiet, beautiful, performs magnificently and a very good buy. Buy it, you will love it!
