Product Description Keep your food tasting fresh by vacuum packaging with our patented FoodSaver Bags. Fill your refrigerator and freezer with healthful, home-cooked meals that can go right into the microwave or boiling water to heat and serve. You can also keep your non-food items safe from air and dampness. Bag size 1 Gallon, 32 count.
Amazon.com Review Designed to be used with all Tilia FoodSaver vacuum-packaging machines, the 32 VacLoc bags in this package each hold up to 1 gallon of food. Each bag is 11 inches wide and 14 inches long. The bags' material is a three-layer construction--two plastic layers and an outer layer of nylon--that keeps moist foods moist, dry foods dry, and all foods from leaking odor. For cooking, the bags can go directly into a microwave oven or boiling water. They are resealable, reusable, and dishwasher-safe. --Fred Brack

FOOD SAVER GALLON SIZE BAGS September 30, 2008 Ms. B. I use these bags constantly. They are ideal for freezing larger cuts of meat, fish and vegetables. These bags are must haves for wholesale shoppers. I have even sealed documents for safekeeping in them. Best of all I only discard the ones that I seal meat in or when they start to deteriorate from repeated use.
Would give it zero stars if possible July 13, 2008 FrankietheC (Fort Davis, Texas) I have no problems with the Foodsaver rolls ... those seem to work flawlessly. These pre-made bags, however, have been next to worthless. Perhaps I just received a bad batch but only about one out of every 5 bag will even begin to evacuate much less hold a seal. Those that do evacuate typical lose their seals after a while. I'm sticking with the rolls from now on. One positive is that I can use the box these came in to store bags I've made from the rolls for later reuse. Other than that, these bags have been frustrating in the extreme!

For all of you using Ziploc or Glad freezer bags, do yourself a favor & invest in a Foodsaver & the bags. They have increased my freezer space 50% & I don't throw away any freezer burned food anymore. I've used the bags for about 2 years now & the freshness & quality is just like it was when I froze items. I'm hooked on them. I highly recommend them for freezing your spring, summer produce.

I keep meats in the freezer for months and they are as fresh as when I sealed them in FoodSaver bags no freezer burn or off taste as with Zip type bags.
Highly recommend November 9, 2006 Linda K. Hedge 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
If you never have used a food saver, you are really missing out! The bags are pricey, but they are worth having.
