Amazon.com Review Just because you're hooked on your morning dose of cafe latte doesn't mean you have to shell out the big bucks for a fancy Italian espresso machine. Team this sleek yet simple milk frother with one of Bodum's stovetop espresso makers to transform your very own kitchen into a European-style coffeehouse (tiramisu not included). Just pour heated milk into the glass carafe and use the plunger to whip it into an airy foam--perfect for lattes, cappuccino, or toppings for desserts. The chrome-plated steel lid even comes with a deep rim to keep foam from coming out the spout while you whip. Viva la dolce vita! --Mary Park

Don't overfill November 26, 2004 A. Watkins (Durham, NC United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just read the reviews about wearing rubber gloves and milk shooting out from the top. There's an easy solution to that: Don't over fill. There's a easy to use maximum fill line. If you want need a little more milk, you can go above the fill line for heating but not for frothing. Just pour the extra heated milk into your coffee cup before you froth.
As easy as one, two, three! September 15, 2003 I don't understand how some people can have problems operating this wonderful, foolproof Frother.........all I do every morning is: 1. Fill the caraffe up to the black line with cold milk 2. Heat in microwave oven 3. Move the plunger up and down a few times and - voila - the most wonderful creamy foam to top my cappuccino.....bye bye Starbucks..................
Easy and fast for great cap January 24, 2003 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Very Cool! Easy to use and quick so you are willing to make a great capuccino before jetting out the door. Was using the steam on my machine but it is easier with the frother, great foam!
WEAR RUBBER GLOVES December 21, 2002 K. Cook (Forney, Texas USA) 2 out of 8 found this review helpful
This is just a big mess, splashes through lid and runs down side, very displeased. If I bought locally I would return immediately. Just doesn't work well at all. No instructions. DONT BUY
The worst kitchen item I have ever bought July 23, 2002 Cathy W (Tucson, Arizona USA) 5 out of 12 found this review helpful
Of the hundreds of kitchen items I have bought over the years this has got to be the worst. I thought this frother might have a better design because of the higher price. I was wrong. There were no instructions included in the box, just a few pictures on the side of the box. I realize the operation is fairly straight forward, but it would have be nice to have some info. When I use this I have to hold it over the sink. Because of poor design, milk shoots out of the handle and onto your hand. To top it off it doesn't make very good froth either. If I could find the box I would return it.
