They're filters! They help make coffee! August 22, 2008 Kris Cayocca (CA, USA) Mr. Coffee has always been a dependable brand for me and these filters are no different. They fit perfectly in my four cup brewer (yes, Mr. Coffee) and work as well as any filter I've used.
Product fine, too expensive to ship April 17, 2008 Terri K. Mcneil (Merritt Island, FL) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought coffee maker as a gift and bought filters along with but when I checked out realized the (additional) shipping was over six dollars as they were shipped from TruValue (not Amazon, which I love to shop) and could only cancel order thru them. So, I went ahead and paid for the shipping but had I known I'd bought the filters at the grocery and mailed them from the post office the save a few bucks. I guess I paid for the convenience but usually am more frugal than that.
Mr. Coffee 4-cup Filters January 7, 2008 Steven Snyder 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had trouble with many 4-cup filters that are commonly available in the grocery stores. They do not always conform properly to the filter basket and allow much of the hot water to drip directly into the pot. The Mr Coffee filters maintain the correct degree of stiffness and always work properly.

(Edit to my own review. Pictured is the brand name, I was suggesting the plain generic pleated 4 cup coffee filters much cheaper, easy to find, and work just as well if you are pinching pennies like many of us are. And they work fine also in a 2 cup maker.....) I've had several 4 cup coffee makers, one was a Mr Coffee that conked. Some called for cone shape, however these can be used in any type, and I prefer paper over the gold mesh permanent ones that make a more acid taste coffee. Now I have a new even smaller 2 cup maker, Brew 'n go, very small included mesh filter, these work fine too, just scrunch them down. However, I just found this size in Walgreen's last week, store brand, had a coupon for 200 for 99c. I should have snapped up a year supply. When I couldn't find this small 4 cup size before I got the 6 cup size and cut the tops off with a scissors, or just use a paper napkin which I have to do when I can't find small ones. I've bought this size at Target before but they don't stock many so it's now and then. When you rinse the filter basket and put one in while it is damp, they mold in place easily, even the 6 cup ones. Hope this helps if you have Walgreen's. Found at Safeway too, but they are always the store brand if you dig thru the shelf and get lucky.
Better Get Them Now August 24, 2007 A. Silver (philadelphia, PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These filters get 5 stars because they appear to be the ONLY filters available for the 4 Cup Mr Coffee Maker. I bought my coffee maker at Target, couldn't find the filters for it and thought, oh well, I 'll just get them at the supermarket. Not available at the 4 markets I checked. Then I thought, I'll get them at [...]. They don't carry them. Then, I tried MrCoffee.com. Nope. I called the 1-800 number in my owners manual and customer service told me they no longer make filters for this machine and that I could purchase them at any supermarket. Maybe at her local supermarket in India, but not mine in Pennsylvania. So....if you just bought this coffee maker like I did, don't throw out the box or the reciept as quickly as I did. Or, you can do what I'm about to do, and purchse as many as these filters as possible (they don't make a gold filter anymore either!)
