My previous toaster was also a Dualit, but one of the elements broke. Rather than replace it, I decided to purchase a new toaster since my old toster was scratched.
The new element seems less fragile than the old and heats more evenly. I love the looks of this toaster. It is a simple design and any part should be easy to replace.
Although this is a rather expensive toaster, the deal on Amazon is the best I have seen.
