it's ok August 13, 2008 Susan J. Vivier (NH) I'm a little disappointed. I read alot of reviews and people seemed very happy with this juicer but I think it wastes alot of the fruit. Even blackberries that should be pulverized leave good size peices behind and it's not that easy to clean. But I quess for the money it's as good as you get.
Great Design and Price but Extracting Juice is Only Average August 7, 2008 FMStLouis I have had this juicer for over one year, using it about 4 times per week. Assembly: 5/5 stars - With only 6 parts (base, blade, pulp catcher, cover, cup and plunger), the design of this centrifugal juicer is its best feature. It also has a reasonable length power cord. Cleaning: 5/5 stars - Again, with only 6 parts, cleaning a juicer doesn't get much easier. For the blade, I use a nail brush. Operation: 5/5 stars - Flip the switch on, drop in your item and insert the plunger. Safety: 5/5 stars - The blade doesn't spin unless the cover is firmly in place. Juicing: 3/5 stars - I juice vegetables exclusively and unless I have a dull blade, ending up with dry pulp will take more than one run through the juicer. Value: 5/5 stars - Despite my average juicing rating, this juicer was designed for ease of use, so it won't just be sitting on a countertop gathering dust. Getting your money's worth with this juicer will be easy to do.
Really good juicer July 17, 2008 Robinson Chyou (FLushing,NY USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This juicer made by waring is the best juicer i ever owned. There are however two problems i frequently encounter it dosent bother me too much one is that if you insert items horizontally the juicer has a hard time breaking it down sometimes it dosent even break it at all the next problem i had was cleaning the juicer now after you use this the particles will cling onto the sides of the cylinder inside there are grooves and holes it takes me an average of about 5 to 10 minutes to clean the brush they provide you is very useful do not lose it. If you are looking for a juicer and never owned one buy this one it will change your life.
An excellent home juicer at a reasonable price! June 13, 2008 Neil Hajba (Kingston, NY, USA) I have used my juicer once/twice a day since I received it and have had no problems with it. It works quite well with a variety of fruits/veggies and is VERY easy to clean. My only gripe is I wish that they would have included a little recipe book to get you started.....but the instructions, packaging, and the machine itself are GREAT! (We are not talking juicebar quality, but definitely great for the home!) I highly recommend this juicer!
Clean - Relatively Quiet - Pulp Free! June 9, 2008 Bryan A. Hesters (Austin, TX) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It's always dangerous to buy any kind of kitchen gadget for your wife, especially for mother's day. In this case, it was a very wise move. My wife loves it, and she's juicing everything. This product deals with pulp flawlessly. It juices quickly and relatively quietly. The only thing I see missing with this juicer is a thorough recipe book because the first glass of orange juice I had was probably the most rancid thing I have ever put in my mouth. I think this has more to do with the fact she juiced the oranges, rind and all, with no added sugar and less the capabilities of the device. The fact that it can "juice" and orange rind is pretty damned amazing, and I warn you that it TASTES LIKE ORANGE RIND! My wife loves it. She uses it daily, and we've had it for about a month. She's getting pretty good at it, too. I highly recommend this juicer for several reasons. It has her enjoying healthy alternatives and expressing culinary creativity. Most importantly, it does all this without waking up the entire house or having her complaining about how messy it is. Long story short, Clean - Relatively Quiet - Pulp Free. 5-Stars!
