 Great Waffles - Iffy product quality February 8, 2010

I purchased this item in April 09, it is now Feb 10. I used it about once a week and it never made a bad waffle -- never burnt, never under done, never stuck. I loved it, up until the day it died, less than a year and very light use (I consider 2 waffles a week, light use). At the price I am not sure I could expect more, but I did; which is why I gave it three stars instead of five. I am now going to see what the warranty service is like from Presto.

When we travel my son always likes to make waffles in the hotel's breakfast room, because they have those fancy waffle makers that you flip over. So I decided to buy one for my son (15 years of age) for Christmas as a silly surprise gift. Well it was a big hit. Not only does my son love it, but my husband, daughter, granddaughter, and all of my son's friends. I love it because it takes up a small amount of space, it folds to a standing position, and makes a perfect waffle every time. Love it! Diana

I decided on this waffle maker after reading all of the reviews, and I'm glad that I did. I like the fact that it can be stored upright and will not take up a lot of space compared to some of the other waffle makers. Once I took it out of the box, I noticed that there was a battery operated timer on the waffle maker. I at first didn't like the idea of the timer, but I actually love this feature. I'm usually doing a few other things while cooking in the kitchen, and the timer lets me know that the waffle is ready. Also, the timer keeps me from constantly checking to see if the waffles are done, it also helps avoid me from overcooking them as well. I have had this for about 2 weeks and have used it 3 times already. I have absolutely no complaints about this waffle maker at this time. This waffle maker is at a good price and is a very good buy.

So far this is the best one for its price. The best it has a small foot print. Very easy to store. Kitchens are full of items that have single uses. very hard to decide to buy another one but this one flips for even cooking also stands straight up for storing takes a 3.5"x9" space squeezes in right between my stand mixer and food processer.

The Presto 03510 FlipSide Belgian Waffle Maker works very well, we are very pleased with it and the easy storage is a real plus. We still use the Bisquick pancake batter, makes better waffles than the recipe with the waffle maker. Very Good product.
