Great Car Cooler/Freezer October 30, 2008

This is the second car cooler we bought. Had to return the first Koolatron one due to poor design. This is a great product. It even freezes under certain limited circumstances, but don't count on using this as a freezer on the road. It takes 12-14 hours of continues operation for water to freeze.
Love this. Good sturdy design.

Special food needs (Maine)
This cooler is great for car traveling and staying in accomodations that don't have refrigerators. Works as advertised, but you must pre-cool your food and beverages as well as the cooler. Downside: noisy, side storage pocket not big enough to store AC adapter, and top beverage holders don't cool or store; they are just spaces to sit beverages if cooler is used as a console.

the cooler is everything I wanted... cools//heats/ handy little freezer..small icecubes but it works...great travel fridge expecially with the 110v adapter for use in house or motels....glad I got it...Black & Decker 12 Volt Thermo-Electric Cooler/Freezer/Warmer

It was everything it sold itself as. The unit cooled so well that when I left it in my office over a weekend, it froze a can of soda.The 110v-12v converter is well worth the extra cost.
