Product Description Now you can mix smooth, lump-free drink at home, at the office, or on the go! The patented Blender Ball moves freely throughout the bottle as you shake it, mixing the thickest of drinks with ease. Simply add your ingredients, shake and drink (or pour)! Biossential Nutrition is proud to carry the blender bottle, as we feel this is currently the best mixer on the market. Blender Bottles are a perfect match for mixing protein shakes, eggs, batters, salad dressings, puddings, gravy, and much much more! A necessity for anyone who does any kind of mixing! Works great with Biossential Nutritions Isossential Protein! The Blender Bottle stands out not merely as the best mixing and highest quality shaker on the market, it also gets high marks from those who are health and earth conscious. Not only does the Blender Bottle mix well, it also makes a great reusable water bottle. Did you know that 8 out of 10 plastic water bottles used in the US become garbage or end up in a landfill, and that many contain harmful chemicals that can leach into the water? Reusable water bottles reduce landfill waste and help to conserve energy and oil. The Blender Bottle is made from FDA approved recyclable plastics and materials, and is BPA Free! BPA (Bisphenol A) is a xenoestrogen, a known endocrine disruptor, meaning it disturbs the hormonal messaging in our bodies. Synthetic xenoestrogens are linked to breast cancer and uterine cancer in women, decreased testosterone levels in men, and are particularly devastating to babies and young children. BPA has even been linked to insulin resistance and Type 2 Diabetes. The Blender Ball is made of electropolished 316 (surgical grade) stainless steel. It is made of the same material and goes through the same manufacturing process as surgical instruments. It wont rust, chip or peel. The Blender Bottle is compliant with both FDA and European standards, and has been independently tested and shown to be free from lead and other harmful substances.

I Put on 30 Pounds of Muscle in 3 Months Because of Workout Shakes I Made With This November 25, 2008 Andrew Chang: 7-Hour School Week and Health, Wealth, Truth (Bay Area) The right shaker can make a big difference in the quality of your workout shakes. I love the shakers with the little blender ball the most. They create a higher quality and consistency in the shake than any other shakers. This is especially vital because of my ABC bodybuilding's Window of Opportunity Shake that I use. Please keep in mind that it is a guide, not a dogma. Do what feels right and what works for you. The Window of Opportunity is a post-workout shake that I used when I put on over 30 pounds of muscle within 3 months. My bench went from 215 pounds to 450, body fat from 7% to 3%, and mile time from 6 minutes to 5. It works. Here are the quick basics, although you definitely must read the article yourself. After the work out, you should consume .22 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight and 5 grams of carbohydrate (half dextrose, half maltodextrin) per 10 pounds of lean muscle mass for bulking, or 2.5 grams of carbohydrate (half dextrose, half maltodextrin) per 10 pounds of lean muscle mass for cutting. You should also consume 5-10 grams of creatine, 5-10 grams of glutamine, and a multi-anti-oxidant formula. All this must be done over a 45-60 minute period. The 45-60 minute sequence is vital: Step One: * Blend 1/3 protein (experiment to find the exact number for you), 1/3 dextrose (simple sugar), and 1/3 maltodextrin (complex sugar) with enough water (water should be at least 92% of the total mixture). Add 500 mg of sodium per liter of water used. * Shake the ingredients well. Put creatine powder in your mouth (5-10 grams when starting, 2.5-5 grams once body is saturated with creatine) and drink the shake to wash the creatine down. It is better to do this than to mix the creatine in water, as that makes creatine lose its potency. * Drink one half of the shake within 5 minutes of working out. After this 5 minutes, allow an additional 10-15 minutes for the solution to settle in your stomach. Step 2: * After the solution has dissolved in your stomach for 10-15 minutes, consume 5-10 grams of Glutamine and your multi-vitamin (Life Force) with one gulp of the shake. * Continue to drink the remaining half of the shake for the following 30-45 minute period. * It is vital to drink small sips of your shake for the entire 30-45 minute period. This allows for maximum absorption rate of the nutrients into your body. Step 3: * Take fish oil with a meal, preferably at breakfast. * Take ZMA on an empty stomach, 30 minutes before you go to sleep.
Awesome for traveling! November 17, 2008 JJ This thing is great - and easy to pack so you don't have to take up room in your luggage with a hand mixer - just put the protein powder in ziploc baggies and store in the blender bottle for packing. When you get to your destination, all you have to do is unpack, grab your favorite beverage and a ziploc baggie and you are set - instant protein shake! Blends most protein powders well, though I have used some that have clumped a tiny bit...:)
Good shaker November 17, 2008 A. Buck (San Francisco, CA) Just as advertised. I was surprised at how well it works - really blends all the powder without terribly much effort (shaking). Good alternative to a blender for an office environment. Easy to clean. Definitely worth it.
Great Mixer Bottle for Your Protein Shakes! November 14, 2008 T. Le (San Francisco, CA) I'm pretty sure that if you're looking at this item that you're starting to go to the gym and are wanting to take supplement shakes like I did. As was recommended in another review, I prefer to add the liquid (whether it be soy milk, water, or regular milk) first, then add your supplement powder to the bottle. This helps to reduce clumping. I used to be able to make clump-free drinks, but alas now I have tiny clumps, not that it really bothers me. I probably fill the bottle up way too much, not allowing enough air for the whisk to make use of. Only drawback are that fruit can get stuck in the whisk-ball and it leaks. But wait! Don't go away yet. It only leaks on me when I use it as a plain water bottle. I'm guessing water's viscosity is too low allowing it to seep out. Never any problems with my protein shakes. My favorite recipe: Fill halfway with Soy Milk 1 handful of frozen blueberries 2 large scoops of greek yogurt (I buy it in the larger containers.) 1 scoop chocolate whey protein 1 scoop double chocolate casein protein Shake Chug-a-lug!
Given as a gift many times October 6, 2008 D. Crenshaw (USA) I have given the Blender Bottle in many forms to my clients and friends as a gift. I also own three at home. I use the Blender Bottle in many ways, from protein shakes, to powder drink mixes, to salad dressing. Clean up is as simple as dropping the bottle and the ball in the dishwasher. The genius of the Blender Bottle is in its simplicity!
