This popper works as advertised. It pops all the kernels without burning and uses just a small amount of oil to do so. I use olive oil, a tablespoon or two. It is well-made, stainless which is less prone to ding and dent than an aluminum one. The gears are metal unlike the plastic ones on other poppers. I had read that the cover is difficult to install on this popper and I can confirm that. However, once you get the hang of doing it, it's not that difficult to do and worth the effort for sure.
